Faux Irish Marble Finish

From County Galway, Ireland. Highly transformed green marble that has undergone great pressure leading to the crushing of fossil shells, the fragments of which are separated by micro faults. One can also observe a richness of green micas (chlorites?) and pyrites. 

Faux Painted Skyros Marble

Faux Skyros Marble Finish

From the island of Skyros, Greece. This marble is a highly crystalline limestone with black mica veins.

Originating from Sienna Italy, this type of marble can range from the most beautiful unified yellow to a pale yellow clouded with white. It can also be found with dark violet veins.

Faux Painted Cipolin Marble

Faux Cipolin Marble Finish

The quarry for Sanguine Oran Cipolin is located in Chouarfa, Oran, Algeria. The initial structures are blurred but with numerous cracks of calcite separated by micro faults. Shell structures are possible, but very crushed and difficult to recognize.  Uses include furniture and decorations.
