This project started as an all white plaster fireplace. The area above the mantle was glazed to imitate a French country color wash. The fireplace itself was painted to imitate aged limestone. The smoke stains were applied with a Tiki torch and a fan (don't try this at home! :) |

White Carrara marble fireplace (above and below) located also in Camarillo California. The real stone originates from Carrara, Italy. It can be totally white, slightly ivory toned, or even lightly veined with grey.

Located in Camarillo, California this is a painted Arzo Breccia fireplace. The real marble originates from Arzo, Switzerland near the Italian boarder. A very time consuming marble to paint, consider this when starting a project. |
